The client had developed an asset renewal strategy for its Trains Division, but there was a significant risk in their ability to execute the strategy due to the change-out requirements associated with the rolling stock fleet and the need to upgrade and maintain existing assets.

SOLUTION

We conducted a workshop with key client stakeholders and worked with the project team to develop four principal elements to drive project success, including the discovery and elimination of waste. We trained teams in a systemic and repeatable maintenance review program to ensure requirements continued to be met.

RESULT

Our approach ensured the program was highly successful, with the SECORA team embedding itself in the client’s team to deliver value across the four principal focus areas.
